Your Drift ID tracks four core attributes. Each one affects a different dimension of your performance in the Arena and your standing within the ecosystem. Understanding how they interact — especially the power formula — is essential to building a competitive identity.

Focus

Your ability to stay on one task.

Focus directly affects your defensive power in duels. A high Focus stat makes you significantly harder to defeat when challenged.
How to grow it: Report deep work sessions, reading, meditation, or any activity that requires sustained, uninterrupted attention.

Discipline

Your consistency and streaks.

Discipline affects your stat gain multipliers over time. The most consistent Drifters compound their growth fastest.
How to grow it: Report daily habits, gym sessions, coding streaks, or any repeated action that demonstrates consistency.
In future phases, Discipline will unlock integrations with GitHub, Strava, and Duolingo via ZK proofs.

Social

Your impact on others.

Social represents your network effect. It will be required for high-tier guild challenges and team duels in Phase 2.
How to grow it: Report mentorship, community building, teaching, or collaborative projects where your effort extended beyond yourself.

Risk

Your skin in the game.

Risk is double-edged. Higher Risk increases your duel power and potential rewards, but you lose Risk points when defeated.
How to grow it: Win duels. Risk is the only stat that grows exclusively through PvP victories in the Arena.
If your Risk hits zero, you become duel-immune until you rebuild it through Reporting. You cannot be challenged, but you also cannot challenge others.

Power formula

Your Total Power determines your win probability in any duel. It is calculated using three of your four stats:
Total Power = (Focus + Discipline + Risk) ^ 4
Because the formula uses an exponent of 4, small differences in stat totals create enormous differences in power. A Drifter with a stat total of 60 has more than 16 times the power of one sitting at 30.
Stat totalPower level
30810,000
402,560,000
506,250,000
6012,960,000
This exponential curve is intentional. It ensures that dedicated Drifters dominate casual participants, and that consistent effort compounds dramatically over time.
