DriftID launches in three phases, each building on the last. Phase 1 is live on Base today. Phases 2 and 3 expand the protocol into a full social and governance layer, turning your on-chain discipline record into something the world outside crypto can read and trust.

Phase 1: Genesis — live on Base

The core protocol is live. Your Drift ID is minted, the Oracle is signing, and the Arena is open.Still in progress for Phase 1:
  • First 10,000 Drift IDs minted

Phase 2: The Social Layer

Team mechanics, social coordination, and third-party verification arrive in Phase 2. Your stats start to connect you with other Drifters and with the wider ecosystem.
  • Guild System — Drifters group by their highest attribute. Focus Guilds, Discipline Guilds, and more.
  • Team Duels — 2v2 and 3v3 arena battles with shared stakes across your group.
  • Third-Party Verification — Zero-knowledge integrations with Strava, GitHub, and Duolingo let external activity count toward your stats without exposing raw data.
  • The Jury — Decentralized report verification handled by high-stat Drifters rather than the central Oracle alone.
  • Bug Bounty Program — Formal security incentives open to the community.
The formal contract audit is also scheduled for Phase 2.

Phase 3: The Sovereign State

Phase 3 takes DriftID beyond the protocol and into real-world utility. Your Drift ID becomes a credential that works outside the app.
  • Stat-Gated Marketplaces — Use your Focus and Discipline scores to unlock discounts and early access with partner platforms.
  • Partner Protocol Perks — Verified Drifters receive benefits across the broader ecosystem.
  • Drift DAO — Governance with voting power proportional to your on-chain merit, not your token holdings.
  • Sovereign Resume API — Employers and institutions can verify candidate Drift hashes directly against the chain.
  • Cross-Chain Expansion — Ethereum mainnet and additional L2 deployments beyond Base.
